Walid Abi Nader

Walid Abi Nader is the firm’s Managing Partner, and has been a member of the Beirut Bar since 1999.
Area of Practice
Walid advises Clients in a large number of fields, most particularly in the areas of Commercial, Arbitration, international Corporate matters, Construction Contracts (FIDIC and EPC), Franchising, Joint Ventures, Mergers and Acquisitions, Offshore companies formation in Lebanon and in BVI (British Virgin Islands), Structuring and Insurance throughout the MENA region, Europe and the GCC region, International Transportation (maritime, air, multimodal). He has a vast experience in Intellectual Property.
He is a Professor at Lebanese University and La Sagesse University teaching Arbitration courses and International Transportation Law courses (Maritime, Air, Multilmodal and Space law), since 2006.
Education
Walid obtained his Law Degree from La Sagesse University, Beirut (Lebanese Master of Laws, Major in Private Business Law), as well as his D.E.A. in international transportation laws and liabilities, then continued his higher education in Montpellier I France where he obtained his PHD with «High Distinction» on the subject: «Le particularisme de la responsabilité de l’entrepreneur de transport dans le transport multimodal international» in 2005. Also Walid followed a number of courses and workshops on arbitration and issues in FIDIC contracts.
